WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

From 10.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 18.00: Practical session around vocal and instrumental Iberian 17th century repertoire performance.

At 19.00: Concert by Dichos Diabolos together with the participants of the workshop.


Emiliano Pérez (recorder & cornetto), Cristina Altemir (baroque violin), Josep Borràs and Alfonso Barreno (shawm & dulcian), Dimitri Kindynis (viola da gamba & baroque cello), Marc Sumsi (organ & harpsichord), Belén Vaquero (soprano) and Lluís Arguijo (choir).

The tutors will share their expertise in an informal, non competitive and creative context, with an emphasis on shared learning.





IS THIS COURSE FOR ME?

We welcome musicians from Spain and abroad to study the instruments and style of Ibearian 17th century music in the delightful atmosphere of the Sant Jeroni de la Murtra Monastery (Badalona, Spain).

Applications are invited from proficient singers and confident players with either modern or historical instruments (Pitch: A=440). Baroque bows and wind instruments (shawms, dulcians, cornetti and sackbutts) will be available during the workshop.


WORKSHOP FEES

The cost of the day of workshops plus the concert is 40€.
